This is an absolute masterpiece!!! Congratulations on the excellent build. Someday I hope to be as productive as you and build a monster tank. Props to you for the perseverance and never giving up. Also, thanks for sharing all of your knowledge with us.

I'm amazed the concrete floor can hold this tank.

Everyone I asked including structural engineers told me I was nuts to build an 1300g pond in the basement of my house.

They said a basement floor isn't made to support 11,000 lbs of water.

Well what about +20,000 lbs? ROFL

People always underestimate the limit of things.

I would like to know did you have any spacers in between the glass and the wood plus is the glass sitting on the bottom of the tank? Love your tank if all goes right and our house sell we should start our first plywood tank late next summer.
