thanks mateTry and get him used to tankmates asap mate its doesn't always work as you've seen with mine kicking off but its the only chance IMO to do it when young , try a few ditherers maybe a few barbs but watch they don't start nipping his fins before he decides to eat them lol
Yes hikari carni sticks are the way to go they grow like weeds once hitting these , I use prawns , muscles and whitebait on occasions as a treat but pellets as main diet , once he starts smashing the hikari you'll have to start buying these View attachment 1032718View attachment 1032719
