Could it work? Most of the haps and peacocks are between 3"-8", mostly predatory haps which still have some growing to do. The tanks a 6' 125. Pet supermarket has a tank full of 2.5" polleni.
just to add, most of the Haps and Mbuna are WAY too fast for larger cichlids to give a hard time....I have kept them w/ Midas, Red Devils, FHs, Buttekofferi, and some other big guys and I never saw any of the Africans get a scratch on them, just make sure they have plenty of hide-spots and cavesThanks for the help Duanes. I plan to go grab one this evening or tomorrow. His tank mates will be nimbochromis, buccochromis, dimidiochromis, and rhampsochromis, so I'm too worried about size. The polleni may be bulkier than the haps when fully grown. Kinda wish I had an empty large tank to get a few to grow out.
