lol yea, and then making a lid for it too, finding a spot indoors to keep it during the colder months, humidity etc.

You go to any fish clubs? I just joined DRAS (durham region aquarium society) in January. Pretty interesting, not enough monster fish though.

Also the Big Al's here in Whitby has some baby albino ID sharks for $10. I'd love to get one but have a feeling my current guy would kill it upon introduction, plus housing 2 of these guys at full size would be a task and a half lol

nope, cause I dont know where I can join one. :irked:

Well, I saw my lfs have 2inches abino ID shark for $6 (included tax), if you come by Toronto (I can give you the exact location and you can check it out(its a chinese store) Buying a fish in chinese store is cheap, but they dont have health guarantee (you have to quarantine it first before mixing it with your own fish). :D

I doubt your ID shark will grow into full size unless you use a pond.. As for my emperor shark, the largest tank im gonna house it in, will no bigger than a 150G (still saving money for one). :irked:

Sanitwongsei can grow to like 3m (thats like almost 10ft), if given a proper tank space, that space is gonna be bigger than my bedroom. :nilly:

This is what Im gonna do when it outgrown my future 150G, a few options, 1)return it to my LFS, or 2) contact metro Toronto zoo to see if they want it or not, or 3) be my dinner (catfish fillet taste very good) or 4) release it in my friend's out door pond (doubt it would make it thru winter) or 5) put it at your front door and run away :D :D :D

6) send it to me hehe. Never seen one in a lfs before. Can't find them anywhere in montana. Biggest cat you can get here is tsn, had to special order every cat I own besides limas, tsn, and channel catfish.

If mine grows too huge and I still have not accomplished my dream in building a giant aqua, then for being in its native country I would just have to send it home with its family.:D

tRIP, those are awesome pictures, I really love the top view pictures, just look like watching a Shark swimming. The sideview has convinced me that it is not what I have, so it's clear what I have is the Sanitwongsei, no question about it.

tRIP, does your ID Shark get freaked out and dash all around as they say it would? I was watching mine and he is pretty calm, even when I am doing waterchanges others would run around...but he stays and swims slow watching what's going on and he loves me pouring water into the tank, he would keep coming to the current and try to swim against it quickly, I guess it gives him the "river" feeling...hmm. Fishes33 what do you think about your Shark's personality?

But just now I went and had to grab something before the tank, when others went panic, he seemed worried himself and rushed around to get away...chain reaction huh? I can't wait to get my camera back from my brother, would love to share pictures. Besides I also think Sanitwongsei has bigger mouth? Do you think? It appears to possess larger heard. I named him Jaws.:)

Just like yours, swimming back and forth, but mostly in the middle of the tank, it will freak out when someone make a bang on the floor, or if I stick my head too close to the glass. :irked:

It will also freak out, when I feed the fish, swim crazily (acts like a lunatic) and then it become aggressive and tries to steal food from other fish (following my other fish) :nilly: When I drop in a big chunk of beef heart, it might got the speed, BUT it takes like 10 seconds or more before he figure it out where the food is (a little dull and dumb imo), and that's a 25G tank, imagine if its in my 90G, it will never find it. :nilly:

But most of the time very skittish.. :WHOA:

(look at the time, its 4am, i should head to bed *yawns*)

LOL at leaving it at my front door. I always like free fish :D

Sarcosuchus thanks for the compliments on the pics :) At times my ID is skittish, usually when I first turn the lights on in the day, can hear him swim into some driftwood, other than that he just swims around the tank going from one end to the other and sometimes swimming in circles from top to bottom in the front middle of the tank.
