Keep up water changes and get nitrate to 20 and your fish will improve.hmm ive been keeping up on my water changes like crazy, and the nitrate is 160+? anyone care to elaborate? and yes i do stir the sand up
I wouldn't stir the sand up - that just pushes all the gunk into the water column. Use a gravel siphon with a nozzle. It will suck the debris directly out of the tank. You'll know you've done enough when the siphon no longer pulls up debris from the gravel/sand. The nitrate level you have likely explains the lethargy of your carpintis, as well as the fungus.hmm ive been keeping up on my water changes like crazy, and the nitrate is 160+? anyone care to elaborate? and yes i do stir the sand up
