Soon my friends soon I finally have time to do the viewing window. I will post pics when it's done. Now the real conundrum what to stock it with. I have a 180 that has polypterus in it
3x palmas palmas
1x palmas polli
2x palmas buettikoferi
1x weeksii
1x mokelembembe
4x Delhezi
2x ornate
2x longfin Senegal
1x Senegal
1x albino Senegal
2x teugelsi
1x endlicheri cb
2x ansorgii x endlicheri
2x koliba lapradei
and a papycranus afer

Or I can bring in some pond dwellers
shovelnose sturgeon
eelpout
Drum
crappie
bass
perch
walleye
sauger
sunfish
Trout
minnows, sculpin, crawdads, stickleback

I went with a 2x4 on top, 2x6 on bottom, 2x6 on each end vertically and one 2x8 vertical to make up the length of the glass with a 1/2" plywood backing
Laid some 5200 down then the liner put the piece of glass on top and waited a week
then I cut out the window square in the liner and then gooped in the glass put some bags of gravel on top waited 2 weeks and...

Had to redo corners/flaps my polys made caves needed something better. Gonna try beckett pond butyl tape.

Peeled as much of the adhesive as possible off. Went over it with a dry towel then mineral spirits then a dry towel. Stuck immediately. Went over it with a kitchen roller. Stuck a piece in the corner pushed really hard a went up and down until I was satisfied.

Put the flap back and went over with the roller again. Seems like a good bond.
Will wait a day or two before filling.
