I checked on the festae this morning, she was safely hiding out in the floating plants in the dark. No bites or marks. Yay!

I spent much of the afternoon making these panels from hardboard, furring strips,and metal roofing panels. They still need to be sanded to fit more snugly together and stained a dark brown to match the driftwood in the tank. Also, a closeup request of the frt from earlier in the thread. The canopy will run fully across but I'm still figuring out how to attach and make it user friendly.
