SHARK BITE, QUICK CONNECT PLUMBING FITTINGS. Pricey, but clear vinyl tube, heater hose, will some times work with hose clamps over pvc at less than 30 psi.
Their is also a pvc compression union for use in fixing underground, irrigation lines, that are always wet.
This is perfect. Thank you so much.

3 columns bolted, waiting for epoxy to cure. 3 more left. To build and install.
It will eventually get formed, rebar, and concreted. For now it will keep the aquarium weight off the 120 year old failing sandstone.

This is probably a good place to ask something I have been wondering.

How do you guys change your plumbing on established tanks? I obviously am worried about unset pvc primer and glue in the system.

I want to change my return a bit and have been thinking about adding in some uv, but only seems worth it if its in-line, which I would have to cut the existing plumbing to do.
Redo it, glue it carefully, try to blow the fumes out of the pipe, and wait a little bit. Just did this a month or so ago, fish just fine.

Ya I never thought of that D davenmandy and I hard piped his 400 to his sump in the basement and we only let it set for about a half hour and just blew air threw the tubes to get any leftover fumes out and it was all good

The block of wood, on top of the sandstone. It's was holding a 8x6 beam. Finally got a steel column under it.

4 columns now supports the west wall. Bolted into the floor and welded into a steel header, under the 2" subfloor.
It will hold the aquariums and the two story house. This has been why I have had a 30 gallon tank.20160325_104937.jpg
Time to clean up my mess and finish the 75 tank stand,
