Common snappers have a smooth shell and alligator snappers have more of a spikey looking shell. Exceedingly easy to tell apart with pics. Doesn't matter which age or sex etc, always easy to tell

Agreed about the no to sand. This question is asking a serious amount of times. People think sand because of the mental image they have of a lizard in the wild on sand. Not many are well enough adapted to living on sand in captivity

As long as you can allocate enough space to the adult sized animal then awesome! XD

Nice balls! :P I'm after a blue eyed lucy. I take reptiles to kids parties, fundraisers and stuff like that for education and animal therapy with disabled kids. I think a white snake with blue eyes would be exceedingly appealing to people!

A tad bored today so gonna take pics of some of my animals and see if people can guess what they are. Nothing too hard to guess really, guess right and ill post the next thread with a new pic kinda thing. This one is probably the easiest of all. Just a bit of fun

Not that I know of, ill look into that actually. This is what I mean, there isn't a PLAN, the plan is to breed reptiles. The only planning thing about it is how to house them and decide when I feel ready to invest larger amounts in rarer reptiles etc

This is a very broad question but ill try narrow it down as much as possible. I am currently breeding reptiles from home and selling the babies on for profit, simple lol but explaining this to investors etc is extremely hard without just naming species to basically just fill the box. Is...

See, I was actually trying to think of a way of keeping them in the garden, fences don't stop em, they dig lol

Here'2 my 2. Not nearly as impressive as some other people but their certainly getting there :D Had them in the garden for a wander around, all they kinda do is stand up, take a stance and gape at you wherever you walk....my kinda pet XD

Agreed with the no of keeping different species together. Could do a nice big, heavily LIVE planted, waterfalled, moss encrusted poison dart frog enclosure?

In no way are folk trying to be mean etc but he'd quickly learn he isn't able to keep it correctly. Re-homing them isn't always an option either
