Fish had the sore when I bought it. It is already in pool filter sand. Just to clarify, if it gets worse, I can treat him for 24 hours in a container with methylene blue and kanaplex?

I have a Peru flounder that I got from the LFS which had an open sore on the bottom of its lip. I was able to check it today and it doesn’t seem to be healing. He is still eating, which is good. But I am going to move him to a bare bottom hospital tank. Is there anything I can treat him...

Ya, once I saw latapy10's species suggestions and looked at juvenile siberian sturgeon photos. I agree that they're more than likely baby siberians. Thanks everyone for the ID help!

Thank you for the ID help and information. Only thing is that I feel is that the nose shape seems to be off to be a sterlet, based off online photos and videos.

LFS says they were imported from Asia but farmed in Russia, but not really sure how accurate that is.

Can anyone confirm what species of sturgeon this is? Thanks in advance.
