Mine only eat pellets and Crickets.. Crickets are sold every were here, you can get a box and the Aro's go crazy for them

IMO from moving koi make sure its round and not any other shape, other shapes tend to disrupted the water and cause a lot of waves when in transit i found that circular ones don't, just my 2 cents

Well i think its down to what they eat and the amount of space they have, I mean if they have less chance of getting it in the wild it has to be down to those two IMO
