the thing you dont want is splashing, gurgling, agitation, etc. strong currents throghout the tank and at the surface are a good thing, as long as you dont have any splashing like you would with an HOB filter. you may lose a little co2, but i dont think it will be enough to make a huge impact. there's lots of discussion over the importance of surface currents on plantedtank.netMyarbro;4308717; said:
