Love the jawning flying fox (?) picture! Neat looking tank anyway, will be interesting to see how it looks in one year. What's your ph with all that co2?
thanks! those fish have lots of common names, its Puntius denisonii. around here they go by roseline barbs/sharks, or torpedo barbs/sharks. as for ph, honestly i dont even know, i dont test the ph. doesnt really matter since co2-induced ph swings wong affect the fish in any way

:confused:whats a sump??? n00b qustion
it's just another name for a wet/dry filter, the small tank you see under my stand

ok these are for Canuck!!! here's a couple of full-room shots, from different angles. you see the tank as soon as you walk in the front door. it's a weird family/dining/living room area. connects to the main living room, front entrance, and the kitchen. nothing exciting, just a hodge-podge of decor i threw together :)

hah thanks man! it's still very bare, only been running for about 3 weeks. cant wait for it to fill in :headbang2

Very nice, not only is the tank beautiful the room is very well put together. You have a really nice house, and the way you use the room to draw attention the the tank is crazy! I really need to pull something together for my fish room. I need to go to marshals and Ross for some vases, and need some seating. I really like how you do a room and tank combo, you go the extra mile most don't go when it comes to make a fish tank an amazing addition to the living space

thanks bro. making the tank looking good along with the rest of the room is important to me. i dont like having a bare ugly tank in the garage with a few fish. it's more of a piece of art for me. afterall, a well done fish tank is almost always the highlight of a room. and Ross is bad ass for random vases and decor :headbang2
