I've done several stand builds over the past few years once I started doing wood work a couple years ago. I'm not a person that can do all the fancy stuff (mainly because of lack of tools), however I've learned that your tool collection grows over time doing these projects also lol. Here is a couple of the ones I've done over the past couple years:

Now, I've started on yet another ideal and that is a Treasure Chest Stand/Cover for my 90 gallon tank that I just got a couple weeks ago. I sold my 350 gallon finally and with that, I can concentrate on more detail of my smaller tanks. These pictures are from just starting, however I will update with pictures over the coming week as I finish up this project. I even went as far as to get a Treasure Chest Lock and hasp to make it look as good as possible:
