Thanks everyone....I've put a little work into to try to get what I want. Going to try and get it on the stand this week. Think I'm going to paint the inside black also for looks when looking through glass.

Thought I would throw a light on it while I finish stand to give an ideal....with sand in it, will even be better. Have to put a small strip between hood and bottom to block out that small strip of light.

Nice job. Looks great.

My only suggestion would be to put a bigger padlock on it if you can find one, so it really screams locked chest.

Thanks and I did think of that, however with a bigger lock and kids with lock right in front of tank glass = disaster lol. I got this from a treasure chest website and its a little safer.

I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea, however I like things different and one of a kind. I'm satisfied with the outcome and with the light on and dark it will have a cool effect. Going to get another pic tonight with light on and after fish settled a little.
