Fishing season 2k14!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haven't posted in a while so I thought id start again. Only fishing I've done in the past month was at Lassiter falls in Crabtree creek the other day. Caught 4 bowfin and a small flathead. Only got one pic and it was of the largest bowfin I caught. Definitely my PB bowfin. Thing was as long as my leg.

Yikes. Forgot about my trip to grand cayman last month. Caught lots of cool fish. Including a couple of bonefish. Had three tarpon on but all three shook my hook. All were around 30-40 pounds. image.jpg

2.5-3m 200kg+ Oceanic Australian Blacktip.
Put the hurt on me thats for sure!

My buddy caught this 11lber a few weeks back in AZ. Monster lmb caught on 10 in power bait worm with my 12 year old ugly stick and 8 lb test lol

Thanks to the advice and tips from fellow MFKrs I've finally caught my first saltwater fish! After a day of being frustrated with my line blows into people at the beach and no fish hitting in the overstocked pond behind the place were staying we went to a breach inlet and I caught a 9" Spot that fought for 10 minutes! Hopefully we'll catch them more often for the next few days. Doing an offshore charter Tuesday so hope we catch some nice ones then :)
