Slow night but still set two personal records! Fished the allegheny. Caught a 26" 10 pound carp and a 24" 8 pound channel cat. Carp fought for about 7 minutes and channel was about 5.

No action tonight. Fished for about 1.5 hours with a daredevle. Most of the lake had about 2 inches of ice and only a few open spots to fish. Going out tomorrow, sunday, Monday, and possibly Tuesday to the allegheny river for carp and cats and this same lake again for trout.
Local lake is still frozen about 1" thick. Hoping it'll thaw this week with temps in the 40s for most of the day. Did see this guy through a hole I made in the ice the other day though. Beat up from the hatchery truck who's water and the fish in it was frozen when they arrived at the stocking site. Let me get about 4" from touching it.
Been to busy to get out to the lake this month but hopefully going to fish a large pool of my local creek for chubs tomorrow, time permitting. I've got plans to icefish 3-4 times this winter but not until jan or feb.
