Hi guys

Been back and forth a few times now trying to find the right kind of stock for my tank.
5ft 100gal tank.
I now have 2 Heros notatus (about 2inches) 6 x geophagus orange head Tapajós (about 2 inches), and poly. Seneglaus.

I know the hero’s can be a hit of a hit or miss in terms of compatibility, but I am hoping for male/female combo. The lfs said I am welcome to trade one back for the opposite sex if available.

Realistically would this size tank house them all well into maturity?
If I do need a bigger tank, what is my time frame for it? (This year is not possible sadly).

Bio-load wise they are fine in there for a year, and through next year as well if you can easily keep nitrates well below 20ppm everyday. Personally, I would start saving up for a 180g+ and get one by 2020.

I will most likely end up with only one notatus and the geos.
The one is being quite aggressive with the other already. Very chilled with the geos though. Likes to swim and shoal with them
