“New” 125 gallon

Got a deal on a 125 gallon tank from FB market place... $50 with stand.

Mind you it’s an odd shape 125, 6’ w, 1.5’ deep, and 22” tall. The prior owner had limped this tank along with copious amounts of additional silicone so the clean up will be daunting.

Are folks still using GE-1 black silicone or is the new standard GE-2 black?

I don’t see the reason to spend $17 a tube for the aquarium stuff

Ge1 and ge2 can be used but make sure it’s says mold free on the label.

Incredible deal! I got a 6 foot 100 gallon with a stand for $60, and a four tank deal for $40 (75, 55, 40B, 20 high). My two best pickups so far, unfortunately the hobby isn't too popular where I am.
