Sorry about the loss.

If the fish has been unable to put on weight the entire time that you've had her, I'd wonder if there's some sort of intestinal parasite that the ray had that wasn't allowing her to gain weight.

this is possible i am sure but the thing is is that i have treated for parasites with prazi pro on several occasions. maybe prazi is not 100% effective? i wish i new. she cost me more than the average motoro because sh was a Columbian motoro i sure would hate to loose a black ray.
