First little DAT we got thinks he a tetra and only eats flakes :irked:
thats a good start. It will eventually take floating pellets.

After 2 hours of looking for floating pellets we found some not what the brand I wanted but they don't sink and now the last Dat is eating pellets

What size does the Carni pellets come in? All of my Dat are 2 inches or small so not sure how big of pellets they can eat seems the small pellets are huge to them but they love the mini pellets.

Those pellets are pretty small,I give them to my two small dats.You can easily break them in half if need be.

Hikari carnivore pellets are small enough. They are soft enough for you to break into smaller pieces if needed.

Looking good tdkeel1.Mine are all on pellets now they seem to love Xterme and the carnivore food.3 are stable and 2 are sometimes seems they don't like lights that much.

Nice pick up and hope you enjoy your IT. I recently just go a 3 bar juvie IT around that size since it was impossible for me to find any locally. It is really active, and doesn't hide as much as the NTT. I was wondering, can IT's bars change overtime. Mine is a clean 3/3 bars, can one of his bar split or an extra faint black bar appear?
