I have a 24" tall 100gallon glass tank that had a major leak on the top. I took out most of the Caulk and should have it done by today (except the very corners).

Will GE I Caulk hold it together along with the re-seal?

Sorry, I already got the bottles of GE I.
So you used the same to hold the glass together?

Took off all the silicone. Decided to take it all off, might as well.
Scrapped clean and letting it dry. Hopefully I can start on the next phase tomorrow :D

Good luck. I just did a 108. Mine was not apart like that. I just siliconed the inside.

Lol, thanks... I need it :D
I am going to fill in the gap tomorrow with GE I and clamp it for 24hrs. Then after it's dry, seal the entire tank. Hope it works out as planned Lol

Update for all 48 of you viewing but not posting Lol

What started as a regular re-seal became a bigger project. I took out the pc of glass and stripped it down. Tomorrow I plan on putting it back

Needs for next step....

The glass pc
acetone
rag
thin material to use as a spacer between glass for silicone
and a radio Lol

Here is what todays 30 min did :D

After the tank is done, it will quickly begin another project... "100gl Sump:naughty:"
