I'm beginning to plant my 20 gal long tank. Right now I just have 2 24" plant bulbs from Walmart, and everything seems to be going well.

Will these bulbs work okay for a while, or would you recommend upgrading to something like this:

-This is one of the cheaper T5 setups I found, I can't really afford to spend $100-$200 on lighting

Other questions:
Can HO T5 bulbs be used in regular T5 fixtures?
The highest-light plant I'm planning on getting right now is an amazon sword, would what I currently have be sufficient?

Thanks for any info.

Your current lighting will be fine for your plants. There is no need for HO T5. The ballast in NO T5 will not fire a HO T5 bulb.

Thanks for the info WyldFya. I have read all the stickies and researched other websites as well, but all of it is still somewhat daunting.
