Oooo thats nice!! Gumtree?

I would get a hole saw bigger then the pipe and remove that way, then attach a new bulkhead fitting, Id imagine you will want one at the least to act as a valve for easy water changes and having 2-3 more for returns and draining cant hurt :D

Quite cute how small that pool looks now lol.

Bulkhead fitting with a plug would be easiest.

i will be using bulkheads with ball valves etc for my plumbing/draining but i need to remove at least 8 of the current built in pipes as i want my bulkheads etc in different positions and sizes, there is also 4 extra large pipes at the rear as well near bottom i need to remove

And yeah i scored this from gumtree and it also amazes me how small the pool looks now hahahaha

Wow this is going to be a fun project! What was the tank originally used for?
yeah will be a fun experience hopefully lol, the tank was originally a filter full of bio balls. I have never seen so many bio balls in my life the guy had to dig them all out and box them up in his garage and WOW just WOW lol

So its been a while since ive done anything, moved house, worked away, started own business etc..... long story short ive started making progress finally! Time to revive the thread!

First things first. I decided i did not need the complete height of this beast and since its going in a garage i don't really have the room for the height once its on a stand for ease of maintenance/access etc.

So i cut it down from 4ft to roughly 2.5ft in height. (will have to get all my exact measurements later and update you all)
I also cut out 3 holes for viewing windows on the front of the tank.

Now its a lot lighter! I ended up moving it around on to my driveway with just the help of 1 mate, it sat again for a few weeks before i finally got in and started the cleaning and preparation for paint/re sealing!

This is the most painful and time consuming part of any build whether its fish or cars or house or work lol, "preparation" but it all comes back to how well u have prepped the job!

Then my tank builder hooked me up with some glass for the windows! This gave me immediate motivation to get cracking on the paint!
