2011 SOUTH FLORIDA FISHING THREAD - PICS AND HOT SPOTS

i never catch anything cool invasive fish. also caught a 5" clown knife and a few small cichlids i can't ID. the clown knife and cichlids were caught so long ago in a cast net that i only remember that they were a clown knife and cichlids and they were on my grandparents ranch in arcadia FL. not really south florida though.

Holy crap! I need to go to Florida! I might be going to Florida for Christmas in fort Lauderdale and not sure if that's anywhere near any of this. Gonna bring my Rods and reels. Hopefully I'll be able to go.

its a blue tilapia, maybe albino maybe just light colored.

It's a white tilapia....another color strain of blue tilapia.

Most of the best fishing for our area is saltwater. Might try Lake Tarpon or St. Johns river in Hillsboro.
