Because some people are willing to pay more to have a fish that looks like an ST but will never be an ST. Indo is an indo no matter how many bars

So the ST datnoid is more expensive, is it? Is it bigger or the patterns are more beautiful? What's the reason control the price on datnoid?

The ST is the pinnacle of the datnioides for a number of reasons;beautiful three bar pattern with bars of varying thickness,rarely unstable.rarely hides and cruises around the tank most of the time...The more rare they become the higher their pricetag climbs.
