Try notjustfish.comOk has anyone tried to make a 3-d background. I tried the foam then fiberglass it. Didn't wrk. The resin melted the foam. So is there a trick that I missed or what. I do not want to use concrete. Any advice or suggestions?
Yes, the trick is to use epoxy resin and not polyester or vinyl ester resins. Polyester will react with polystyrene foam and melt it. Despite the extra cost, epoxy won't react and is also more waterproof over the long period (Polyester absorbs more water and can cause osmosis).Ok has anyone tried to make a 3-d background.
