3foot hight on 20mm cast acrylic?

would you go this high with 20mm or get thicker acrylic? can buy 10x6 sheets very cheap was thinking of a 10x5x3 solid acrylic build

It seems awful thin to me... but being acrylic, its probably ok. Personally, I would go thicker, and not leave it to chance.

Judging by the thickness of tank manufacturers at that height, I would say that the acrylic seems a little thin for that height, but a small step up to 25 or 26mm would make me sleep better at night. I'm not a tank maker though, so maybe a quick call to a manufacturer might give you an idea of the standard they use for that tank?

It would work but it will bow like mad without proper bracing. I suggest going a little higher on thickness. For reference, most acrylic tank calculators will recommend over an inch. Manufacturers will of course, stretch that limit.
