If you had great filtration and 30% roughly water changes 2 x a week you would be fine for about a year. Not sure what you got in your sump. But I had the same at one point 2 pups in a 120 with 2 2 fx5s and they did great for a year. Had to move them after a year. At around 9-10 inches they are just to big for that foot print.
