Bummer.
90deg? Are you sure one of those heaters didn't go haywire and got stuck in the on position?

I have the heater set to 73. I also had my hand on the pump and it was hot as hell. One of the propellers was spinning in the opposite direction and humming. I think its a 3200 GPH wavemaker.Bummer.

Heaters commonly malfunction and either doesn't go on anymore or they stay on until they burn out completely...in the process cooking your tank....regardless of what it is set on. That's why many people use heat controllers in conjunction with their heaters.I have the heater set to 73.
These do have controllers on them. I will double check them tonightHeaters commonly malfunction and either doesn't go on anymore or they stay on until they burn out completely...in the process cooking your tank....regardless of what it is set on. They liked to scrap with the Eclipse cats, but other than that, no issues.Shame about the leporinus. How nippy were they?
I believe you got your issue resolved with the pump as the culprit. I was just making a point about heater failures. These do have controllers on them. I will double check them tonight
