Hi everyone,

Thought I would stick some pics up of my new tank. Taken around 2 months in total to get to this stage. Still need to finish some scaping etc., but majority is complete. I have kept piranhas for about 15 years now, and finally have the tank size I have always wanted.

Tank is 8ft x 3ft. The wall was knocked down and built back up around the tank (lounge side), and cladded with white gloss the other side (office).

Luckily there was a waste pipe running down the wall, so I have a freshwater and waste supply for easy water changes.

Current stock is 2 Pygocentrus Cariba, but the plan is to add Piraya in a few weeks.

That's awesome, I always fancied a piraya tank, so expensive here in the UK £160 per 4" fish.
Didn't realise piraya would comm, thought they were a lone species.

Thank you. Caribes are 3-4" at the moment.

Justarn - I'm also in the UK but should be getting Pirayas less than half that price. There are people who are likely getting them for around £80
