probably for the bugs…
don’t know how much time in the woods you spend, but it’s common to wear bug nets etc in warm weather, many bugs swarm the face (midges and black flies are two common ones)
Lots of time in the woods. I live on the border of a 500,000 acre park and on the other side of the park there's nothing but more of what the park's made of. I don't see the woods as being that much of a problem in my area but at the water's edge there are mosquitoes by the millions along w/ white sox and other bugs; most fly and all bite. Once you step in the water we have leeches. Sounds like a tough sell but I love the place. You know your area better than I but where I live if you cover your mouth because the bugs are too thick but head out in short pants you'll be wishing for bug dope immediately and if it's not strong enough to give you instant cancer it won't be worth wearing.
These are big fish, the biggest I've landed was 97cm, but checkout this GoldCoast specimen.
