A STAR FOR THE FUTURE!!,..I GIVE YOU ELTON!

Here is my latest acquisition, his name is Elton, after...you guessed it.. Elton John due to the big specs on the top of his head.
This particular fish was bred by my very good friend Giles known on this forum as rayrayray, i'm very grateful to him for allowing me to have this particular fish as I had to sadly move on my pair of Leo's a little while back, they have however found a very good home. They were both very good specimens which made it a difficult decision to say the least but i'm pleased to say this little gem has filled the void nicely.

This pup is a result of breeding a pure quality male BD with a very nice classic, so not a hybrid, simply a Leopoldi.

Looks great. Also want to know if it's a hybrid.

The way I like em! Been a brown ray fan black rays have to fit a certain criteria, they must have very large spots and be as symmetrical as possible, I would get bored of looking at a black ray with random medium to small spotting, I actually prefer a nice large spot classic to an average BD for instance, P14s are my least favourite black ray because of this plus they don't achieve a black enough base colour without the introduction of BD blood.....but then they are not pure P14.
