I have a 100 gallon tank, 60x18x20, brand is clear for life. I just noticed theres a big crazing located at the bottom on the side of the tank. Is this a huge red flag? There is also a few bubbles at the seams. Thanks

Any better pics o.p.? Kinda hard to make out past it looks like seam separation and that its not touching the stand underneath it either. Almost looks like it was re glued before. Additional pics would help the cause ??

Thanks for additional pics ??… i could not tell that was tile in there from the 1st pic?… to me it looks like “outside damage” on the acrylic. The seam/seal looks fairly good. It was either re glued a bit in that spot with solvent and thats whats causing the look of it or i wanna say it was dropped or damaged when moving it. If its been running like this for 3 yrs already i wouldn’t worry much. As long as its not getting worse or spreading id let it ride. Def. Looks like it was dropped when moving since the damage appears to be on the bottom of the sheet.

Haha. Thank you. I moved a few times so I guess that's what happened. Yup those are ceramic tiles, i will replace it with black sand though. A lot of poops get caught in between the gap which isn't ideal for me.

Acrylic is notorious for crazing. I had a 125 Sea Clear in the 90s that I bought new and it was a bone of contention for me…..
