actually how rare are they? I was under the impression that jars only breed 250m away from land that would mean that there are not any being bred commercially, may be a better chance of winning the lottery than catching one!-)

My saying is buyer happy seller happy

But in the case of a 27k jar I would say it's only the seller who's happy on this deal

No matter how much money some one has I can't see buyers being happy with prices like this
