Don't worry about it? Let it grow? I'm starting to like algae in a tank. Looking at Guapote Mel's videos, he has algae in his tanks, and they look great. Or...put a small sailfin gibbiceps pleco. I just got one and he cleaned out my 135 Gal in a few days....then started crapping constantly everywhere...:)
Haha, a pleco crapping everywhere. I've got the same thing with very minimal algae in my tank and I can see strings everywhere. My pleco is only 3-4 inches long too. I feed him and SAE's algae wafers once a month (but I give like 6 wafers over a time period and change the water after). SAE's get Xtreme flakes and the pleco gets algae and whatever leftover food it can find.
