Haha, a pleco crapping everywhere. I've got the same thing with very minimal algae in my tank and I can see strings everywhere. My pleco is only 3-4 inches long too. I feed him and SAE's algae wafers once a month (but I give like 6 wafers over a time period and change the water after). SAE's get Xtreme flakes and the pleco gets algae and whatever leftover food it can find.Don't worry about it? Let it grow? I'm starting to like algae in a tank. Looking at Guapote Mel's videos, he has algae in his tanks, and they look great. Or...put a small sailfin gibbiceps pleco. I just got one and he cleaned out my 135 Gal in a few days....then started crapping constantly everywhere...
