it's true octopus don't live long, but in my opinion it'd be totally worth it to get one as they're extremely interesting, responsive marine animals. we were fishing off a jetty [i'm in singapore] when we got it.

about five days ago, i came down in the morning to find the tank FULL of specks, floating around, i look closely, and baby octs! they were TINY, 2-3 mm each, bobbing around. but i had to go to school
by the time i got back, the tank was clear, the fish were nice and fat, and the mum had already died.
i'd planned on setting up a 40gal sps/clam tank, now i think i'll get another oct for it, i'm hooked on these critters!
