right now I have 6 spotted gars and 2 kinrin yamabuki ogon in there. In these pic I was feeding them the saki hikari growth koi food but I feed them a lot of different thing like: dead fish(I found that feeding live increase the aggression and they attack the koi), shrimps, earth worms, tilapia filet, Hikari cichlid gold pellet, saki hikari growth koi pellet(just bought it like a week and all the fish love it), Dainichi premium koi pellet(which is just ran out so I bought the saki hikari growth, all the fish didn't really like it as much as the saki hikari and a lot of pellet sink while it is floating pellet. And also this might be the reason of the gars' good coloration since it has part color enhance food), other than those I also give them cricket and grasshopper when I have the chance. So wicked man, what's the full stocklist and what do you feed?
I had them for about 18 month now and I didn't feed them at all in the last winter(about 3-4 months or so), they was about 4 inches when I got them and now they are about 17'' for the male and 18'' for the femaleCool, how are the yamabuki growing for you? Mine is so slow it's terrible.
thank you those pattern seem to be one of the most common pattern on spotted gar in the south.Crazy wicked patterns
