So your mokes hide allot? My bigger moke was the first bichir I got. He was super light tan with just a few greyish markings looked like a delhezi which is what I bought him as lfs had 9 and I got them all I knew he was different. Until I got my second now I can only tell the difference between them by size both blacked out and just a little mottled brown/green only pattern is on the tail. That is when I see them. He was hanging out with too many Delhezi.
But they do come out of the woodwork when I throw some tilapia/shrimp in I think my 2 teugelsi hide the mostSo your mokes hide allot?
Thanks if you get a chance post some pics. Polys have to put out less of a bio load than cichlids.. thanks guys think im gonna go gor another one... just have to decide now.I have 10 Polys from 6-14" and a 8" florida gar in my 150 and my parameters are always good. I have pothos to take care of my nitrates along with a lot of filtration. My moke is always out and swimming around, he honestly acts like a senegal except a tad bit more skittish. Hopefully you can find one, theyre probably one of my favorites except ive never seen mine eat in the 4 months ive had it lol.
