I had a pair of ITs, both around 6".

One would chase the other all day, didnt work.

Its been working fine for me for almost 2 years now because of the leporinus. It keeps messing with the bigger dat all the time, hence distracting it from bullying the smaller one. Theres still a chase here and there but not major. My dats are about 10" and 11".

Didn't work for me-bigger one always bullied the smaller (interestingly the smaller one was more stable) and eventually lost the smaller one. Staying with just the one unless I get a monster sized tank and then I'll add more

Yup.. one dominant and one submissive.. no problems at all.. they get along just fine as long as the bigger one gets first pick at food.. no bullying, just a quick reminder who's in charge..

3 or more are usually better..
