he was housed in a 5x3 but the tank cracked :(. Took me ages to get that tank too! Hes temporarily in a 80g and ive just picked him up a 230g (including sump) which is a 6ft 2" x 2ft 4" x 2ft 3" height.

Mind you, he's stunted I reckon cuz I got him of my colleague who had a 4x1x1 :banghead:

trust me man, he needs bigger. the 6ft is just temp. He's going in a much bigger tank in hopefully 6 odd months.

if you want one of these gorgeous cats, get a 6x3 minimum. I know I would've if I could go back lol

Largest I can go now is 5x2. I guess I just stick with the smaller cats for now. Thanks for the info

That was a young guy, ~6".

Cannot provide good enough shots but have a couple in a pond, 2.5' and 1.5'.
