they get about 14" and grow fairly quick untll about 6", so they'll prolly go t from 2-6" in 4-6 months, then sloww way down. but thats a good thing, cause they eat alot! and when they get bigger they eat alot more...lol

I will add something here, I have a suncat that I have had for a year and it is about 4" long. It isnt very large at all, I would say they are rather slow growing if anything.

The fish is in a 125 gallon tank and gets 2x water changes a week so he is not stunted.

i had one and gave it to my buddy before i went into the marines. it was 2" and now it 2 years and he just came over and gave it to me and it 6"almost 7"
