I don't know the tds in my tank but I pump about 150gal per day on RO into my tank with a tds of about 4 and anothe 150 gal of treated tap water of about 220ppm the redox/orp is about 300-340 depending when I fed

Before I started pumping in the RO into the mix the rays didn't feed as well as with it
I'm about 1 year into the RO tap water mix drip now as I just changed the membrane and I would say my tank water is much better and my rays more healthy
My biggest rays are over 8 years old now I know that's not that old for a ray but only time will tell as to what effects the way I keep them as had

My TDS from the tap (municipal) is about 145. All my tanks seem to be around 200 (+/- 25).

On a side note, added ceramic tile to one of my tanks and it went from 220 to over 1000 in a day. Fish showed no ill effects. But I did bump up the water changes to get it back in check. Took about 3 weeks of 50% every other day.
