WALs get more and more aggressive as they grow. Mine at 12" lived okay with my bigger fish. Then slowly things started getting bitten or killed. At 30", it can't be housed with anything.

Mine WALs aren't as big as your WAL, but I have noticed an increase in aggression from one of them. Oddly enough, it's the smaller of the two WALs (currently ~14") that is aggressive; the other one (~16") could care less about what is in its aquarium with it. I can't even keep a pleco in with the smaller WAL!

Greatest tankmates for a wal are food and only food...

Yes i just put a spotted high fin pleco in with him, it lasted maybe 2 days, such an expensive meal, however the bushy nose seems to have a good survival instinct and is thriving

in a tank that big, there's no room for tank mates to escape. better keep it solitary.
