I got a used 75 gallon for $35 about a year ago and resealed it, but I hadn't set it up yet and I was planning to soon, but I noticed a pretty deep scratch on the plastic brace on the side of the aquarium. Do you think it's fine? I think it's just a scratch, not a crack.

Pictures are worth a thousand words but my bet is that you'll be fine if it's really just a scratch.

There isn't any paint on it, just plastic. I'm pretty sure it's a scratch and not a crack, but it's pretty deep. I thin it will probably be fine, but I just want to make sure. Here is a picture:IMG_20180220_214550487.jpg

that should be fine,
if you are worried take it out side fill it up and leave it for a day and see if anything leaks, then just drain it and move it back in,
is a bit of a pain, but its better then it flooding your house if you dont trust it
