Just got these last week at a lfs. Only $11 each. Nice fish and they always school with each other. Also what is a likely size in captivity?

What a good deal! That was a steal for them at that price. I'm jealous now. I've been wanting some Lenticulata for a while now. Nice pikes by the way.

Ok now how big? They told me a foot in captivity at the lfs. These were at an unbelievable price for this store considering they want $50 for a 2-3 Red Tail Barracuda and $30 for a baby Ocellaris PBass.

Oh yeah and to rub it in a little I had a coupon for $10 off a purchase of $50 or more which I used for these fish so I really got them for $45!!!

They are in a 180 as of yesterday which just got set up yesterday. I just put my 2 Motoros in there 5 minutes ago. My 2 Eels will go in later this week or weekend. I will have to post pics when its completely done.

Awful lot of fish for a new setup. I would keep a close eye on your water params. especially with the rays being susceptible to nitrites and ammonia. They also might start picking at the rays and stress them.

As for as the size they reach around 14" or so in captivity. I have two Lents from the Orinoco that are 11' right now. 3 years old. By the way if you turn out to have Orinoco variant and have an extra female I would definitely be in the market.

You can see mine and nibwrench on page 25 of the pike photo thread.
