wow...why are leicharti so expensive?...here in aus there the cheapest aro you can get

not sure...i guess their more rarer down here...but some other states sells them for much more than the LFS i go to down here

Arowana price at my place (Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur)

Silver Arowana = RM20-30

Jardini = RM30-40

Leicharti = Never Available

Black Arowana = Never Available for very long time

Yellow Tail / Green Arowana = RM100-200 (without cert)

1.5 Red Arowana = RM250-350 (without cert)

Red Tail Golden Arowana = RM600-700 (without cert)

Red Arowana = RM1800-2100 (without cert)

Crossback Golden Arowana = RM3100-4000 (without cert)


All the prices above are for the baby Arowana with the size around 3-4 inches.
They will be a bit more expensive if come with cert.

there are much more expensive Asian ones like the high back RTG,Platinum Aros,Yi Tiao Long (Meaning the scales from the top are all in a straight line),short bodied aros,etc.
A High Back RTG should cost at least 200 to 500 more than a normal RTG.
A Platinum Aro is rarely seen but should cost 10-20 times more than the orginal aro. (eg. Red Aro - $2000,Platinum Red - $20,000)
A short bodied Aro should cost 4 times a much as the normal Aro, (eg.RTG - $400,Short bodied RTG $1600)
A Yi Tiao Long (YTL) should cost 2 times as much as the original Aro.Depending on the shine and the quality.
Mostly the price will only go up for the Aro should the colour intensity or shine be brighter and stronger.
