Beef Heart and Rays??

Is it a good Idea to feed my 4" pup with a lot of Market Shrimp and Frozen Beef heart (BH from Petco in lil cubes)?
I just feel feeders are to risky, but I want to feed him something thathe will bulk up too

never fed beefheart to any of my rays.... earthworms are good for bulking up but I prefer just using shrimps and smelts....

I like to give worms, but my ATFS ate some and were constapated for a while. When It came out it still looked like a worm, but with pooh all over it.
I guess I can feed it directly??

Try silversides rays love them.

i would skip the beefheart and go for the silversides or go to your supermarket and buy smelts... also pellets are great....... a good trick with sinking carnivor pellets is to soak them in with some silversides

Beefheart would probably make a bad mess.. shreds into small particles easily.

I used to buy some hearts from the grocery store and clean them.

I would then cut them in thin, worm-like strips and feed them to my histrix as an occasional treat.

They seemed to love them.
