My ~450ish gallon fish tank is almost about to be complete.

Fiberglassing it now.

Then applying pond armor after I sand it I guess? Just doing every bit of extra I can. I know Pond Shield isn't necessary after glassing it. Buuuut, fiberglass can crack, and Pond Shield is less likely to crack. We're all about overkill right?

What silicone do you want to use applying the glass display windows?
GE Silicone I? (sold at Home Depot)
Rvt 103 or RVT 108?
GE SCS 1200?

GE SCS 1200 has the best strength in tear and peel.

But I wasn't sure if it didn't apply well?

I used GE 1 100% silicon chaulking for mines without problems, but I didn't paint the surface where my glass was going with sealer. Silicon may not stick to pond armor.

In most plywood builds the glass should be fully supported by the wood frame so the silicone is mostly acting as a sealing gasket. The nature of the joint means that the silicone shouldn't really be exposed to significant shear, tear or even adhesive stresses, so you shouldn't really have to worry much about that. GE silicone I is cheap and should work fine.

If you want, you can scuff up the Pond Armor slightly with some steel wool or sandpaper to increase the adhesion of the silicone (make absolutely sure there's no powder residue left and clean well with alcohol).
