Hello my senegal is in a hunger strike for already a week. He does look fat and i see a red spot on his belly. Could it be septicemia / blood poisoning?
I feed tilapia, hikari and sometimes meelworms and crickets. He appears to be more at the surface of the tank. Sometimes even laying half on land.
Water seems fine, other fish are fine. I had a bichir who died a half year ago due to blood poisoning. The red spot on this bichir does not seem to grow bigger contrary to the one i had that died. It does seem that my nitrate is a bit high. But thats because my water change day is today. My kit doesnt measure ammonia. Nitrite is 0
